Lang sprang a surprise by moving a want of_confidence motion in connection with the Government’s cement contracts. In his speech ho referred to dishonest administration regarding the contract. On the motion of the Premier (Sir George Fuller) the House immediately adjourned till Tuesday.
WATERSIDE LABOUR DISPUTE.
MELBOURNE, September 19. Watorsiders working the Holyman Line of steamers ceased work, contending that the Holyman Line was employing men in contravention of the Arbitration Court award.
