LONDON, September 12. The cricketers Freeman, Whysall, Howell, and the manager (Mr Toone), and Mrs Hobbs will embark on the Ormonde at Tilbury to-morrow. The remainder of the team for Australia —namely, Gilligan, Douglas, Bryan, Chapman, Hobbs, Sandham, Tyldesley, Tate, Strudwick, Woolley, Hearne, Hendren, Sntcliffe, and Kilner—are engaged in a match, Champion County (Yorkshire) versus the Rest of England. They will join the Ormonde at Toulon. SOUTH AFRICANS' TOUR. DEFEATED IN LAST MATCH. LONDON, September 12. Th-e South Africans, in their second innings, against 'Mr C. I. Thornton's Eleven, made 273 runs. They were beaten by an innings and 45 runa^ The wicket was good. Allen, in his first five overs, took three wickets for 4 runs. Then Nourse and Susskind made a valuable stand. Nourse batted for 210 minutes. He hit eight 4's. Susskind made 59.
