Unusual interest attaches to the great Basuto -Pisto (or National Assembly), which was opened to-day at Maseru by the Earl of Athlone (the Governor-Gene-ral). Over 30,000 natives were present, many having ridden miles over the hills. This is said to be the biggest Pitso on record in Basutoland under Imperial rule.
