WELLINGTON, September 5. - The Secretary of the General Post Office reports that the following wireless message was intercepted last evening i the Laburnum to the Veronica and the Dunedin, at 6.45 p.m.“Mesna aground fore and aft, broadside on, with water m all holds and the engine-room. Laburnum and Veronica cannot attempt to salve tne ship, and the Veronica’s services will not be required. Have embarked 29 passengers All the crew are remaining on the wreck for the night. Am standing by, and will sail probably to-morrow (Friday) afternoon for Nukualofa, after embarking passengers and luggage.’’
