CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALE. (Pin United Pesos Association.* CHRISTCHURCH, September 3. Tho wool sale held to-day was practically a solo of crutohings, the catalogue being comprised of quite SO per cent, of such. Fleece wool was represented by odd lots of stragglers' wool. The catalogue comprised 18,777 bales and tho disposal eerved to clear the decks for the incoming clip. A comparison with ordinary sales is of little value, but there was a very bright sale, and to all appearances there is nothing in the present wool position to cause any misgivings as to the- maintenance of recent values. Only an odd lot or two were passed. Th© bench was a fully representative one, the Home buyers operating freely and dividing the catalogue well with tho local fellmongers. The best prices were: Merino fleece 27d, merino pieces 20d, halfbred fleece 27Jd, halfbred pieces 205 d, halfbred crutchings 19d, halfbred bellies 19Jd, merino crutchings 18id, three-quarter-brad crutchings 16d, crossbred crutchings 15J.
