Tho Egyptian Government’s reply to the last British Note in regard to the Sudan protests against certain clauses of a threatening character. It denies that Sir Lee Stack, Governor of the Sudan, is entitled to take action in regard to the Egyptian army without referring the matter to the Egyptian Government. The latter also denies the allegation that the Egypian press and Parliament are responsible for the Sudan agitation.—Reuter.
