AMUSEMENTS. OCTAGON THEATRE COMMENCING TO-NIGHT at 7.45. “DRIFTING.” LISTEN TO NEW YORK RETORTS; “ Drifting,” Priscilla Dean’s last Jewel production, had its premiere showing this week in the Capitol Theatre, New York city. It played to excellent business. The mature is a Tod Browning production, adapted by Browning from John Colton’s stage success of the same name, produced on Broadway a season or so ago with Alice Brady in the leading role. “ Drifting' 1 has been booked over the entire U. 8.0. circuit and will play in most of the leading houses in the Metropolitan district shortly after its run at the Capital is completed.
