RUGBY FOOTBALL.
HIGH SCHOOLS’ TOURNAMENT. The High Schools’ Rugby tournament, to bo held at C&risbrook to-day and Tuesday between the Christchurch, Timaru, Southland, and Otago Boys' High Schools, is being looked forward to with a vast amount of interest. These matches always provide high class exhibitions of Rugby football. To-day at 1.20 p.m. the Timaru and Christchurch teams will meet, and at 3 p.m. tho Southland team play. Otago. Both these games are expected to provide fast, open games, full of thrills, and the matches should bo closely contested. On Tuesday the two losing teams in tc-day’a games will play off at 1-20, and 3 p.m. the two winning teams will meet. The Timaru team arrived on Thursday night, and tho Southland and Christchurch teams arrived hist evening, the boys all being billeted. This evening the teams will be entertained at dinner at the Savoy, and tomorrow morning they will attend the service at Knox Church. On Monday morning the rector of the Otago Boys’ High f-cliool will receive the visiting boys at the school and show them the memorial arch and tho memorial tablets in tho school. In the afternoon the teams will bo taken for a tram ride through the city and suburbs, starting from the Triangle at 2 p.m. In the evening they will attend the Octagon Tictures, and on Tuesday evening a fiance will bo held in tho Savoy buildings.
