GOVERNOR OF TASMANIA
ELIGIBLE LABOURITES SCARCE. DAILY HERALD’S SUGGESTION. Fttn Aaeociatioiy—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 15. (Received August 14, at 5.5 p.m.) The Daily Herald, in an editorial regarding the Tasmanian Governorship, suggests that Giving to the scarcity of sufficiently wealthy Labourites in Britain efforts should be made to find a candidate in one of the other dominions. Such an innovation would do more to show that the British State is really united than years of talk or miles of articles.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
