OTAGO MOTOR CLUB.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Otago Motor Club was held last evening in the R.S.A. Club Rooms, Mr W. Wright (president) occupying the chair. Messrs W. Wright, J. C. Passmore, A. IWood, A. E. Ausell, Ibbotson, and H. Halliday were appointed delegatee to attend the quarterly meeting of the South Island Motor Union to be held in Dunedin on August 33. It was decide to write to the Telegraph Department drawing attention to the dangerous position of a telephone box at the corner of Ross street and Highgate, Koslyn, and ask that the box be moved. It was decided to supply two danger signs for the Caversham Kindergarten School. The Clerk of the Portobelio Road Board wrote stating that the motor speed limit -had been raised to 12 miles an hour between Broad Bay Post Office and the PortobMlo Post Office.
