Tombs which are probably more than 2000 years old have been discovered at Maxglan, near Salzburg, Austria. There are, about 20 mounds of various sizes, in which the ashes of the dead were buried after cremation. Only one tomb proved intact; it contained a flat bronze basin, a bronze neck ring, and an urn.
