TO THE EDITOR. gi E) _AVith reference to the suggestionthat the Sydney University match and the Chinese match bo played at Carisbrook, I think this is a capital idea if it could be worKed. If the Rugby Union would fall in with this scheme a large number would attend from North Otago, am sure, and other country districts. Trusting the union and the Soccer Association will get together and discuss this matter before it is too lato. —I am, etc.. Oamaiuj. A POSTAL N\)TE CONUNDRUM. TO THE EDITOR. Pm, —I had occasion to pay two small accounts for 19s and 9s 6d respectively by postal notes. In respect of the former amount I received postal notes for 15s, 2s 6d, and Is sd, poundage 4d, and the latter 6s, 3s, and Is 6d, poundage sd. You will notice the poundage on tho smaller amount is Id more. Hod it been necessary to purchase postal notes lor larger amounts, say, £1 and 10s, I would have paid poundage 2d and 2d respectively. Surely, Sir, something is wrong with the system.—l am, etc., Disgusted.
