WOMEN SHOPLIFTERS.
SEVEN DAYS’ IMPRISONMENT. (Peb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. July 31. Margaret. Thomson (aged 42) and Lilian Ester Heywood (aged 62), both married, were charged this morning with shoplifting, and sentenced to seven days' imprisonment. Counsel said the women had been taking a fair amount of mild drugs. Their husbands were in good financial positions.
