BROKEN BONES FOUND.
BURNED UN- MYSTERY. The police have discovered Eve pieces of bone in the ruins of the Red Lion publichouse at Aspenden, England, where they are searching for the remains of Mrs Emily Brightling, presumed to have been burned, to death on August Iti, 1317. Four of tho pieces are small, and the fifth about tin long and, at tho knuckle end, about lin across. This piece appears to have been broken as tho other end is jogged. The bones were discovered as tho police were clearing what was the fireplace in the bar parlour. It. is impossible at present to say whether they arc human remains or not.
