RUGBY FOOTBALL
To-day will bring the first, round of senior matches to a close, and the attraction at Carisbrook will bo the match between Pirates and University B. The University B have got their full team together again, and this match should provide a close and interesting exhibition. On the Caledonian Ground the match Dunodin v. University A will ho played, and the Kaikorni and Union will meet at Bishopscourt. Both these games should provide good exhibitions of football. The Zingari and Alhambra teams will meet on Opoho No. 1, and the Southern and Taiori Rovers at Mosgiel. Providing the ground is fit, the curtain raiser as Carisbrook will be the Third Grade match Southern A v. High School. At the Caledonian Ground the President’s Grade match, Pirates v. Alhambra, will be played as a curtain raiser. In the event of Carisbrook and the Caledonian Ground being unfit for a curtain raiser, the Third Grade match will bo played at For bury No. 2, and the President’s at the Oval No. 1.
