ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DEATH FROM BURNS. (Per United Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, June 18. Eileen Howat, aged seven, died in Grey Hospital to-day as the result of burns received when playing in front of the fire at her home in Gooden yesterday. Her clothing caught alight. A YOUTH’S DEATH. (Peb United Press Association.) OAMARU, Juno 18. The police have been advised that a youth named Vernon M’Lonnan, 16 years bt age, hanged himself on the Ben Avon Station yesterday.
