OTAGO HUNT.
Considering the stale of the weather on Saturday afternoon’ there was a good muster of enthusiasts at Mount Grand to take part in the Otago Hunt Club’s run. Although the scent was, somewhat patchy, the pack worked splendidly. The ground was very soft at some of the jumps, and, with the exception of two empty saddles, the horses jumped well. The following took part in the run: —Mr J. R. Erunton (master) on Sunbeam, Mr A. Edgar (deputy) on John Peel, Huntsman on Dandy, \Vhip on Mack, Mrs Dalzell on Chummy, Alisa Smyth on Kenny, Mr A. E. Ellis on Adjulor, Mr L. Simpson on Silent Mount, Mr G. Hargreaves on Vincent, Mr D. Robertson on Skylark, Mr L. Waite on Overland, Mr H. Merry on Orange Bitters, Mr B. Sinclair on Skylight, Air E. Mackie on Cassels, Air J. Crawford on War Alnrch, Mr A. Ruthven on Red Sol. Mr h. Thompson on Cairmnuir, and Mr S. Robertson on Haka.
