HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.
“ALADDIN.” A J. C. Will iamson pantomime is always sure of a prolonged and hearty welcome m Dunedin, and “Aladdin” is being as enthusiastically received as any. 'lhe sparkling entertainment that it provides includes a number of first-class specialites, such a.s the comedy painting scene by .Messrs Welch and Bluett, the dancing of Miss Phyllis Amery and Mr Kelso' Henderson, and the marvellous acrobatic and balancing feats of the three Nilos. As tne principal boy, Miss Ada Reeve acts with great charm and a finished art that is a delight to witness. “Aladdin’ is particularly rich .in spectacular effects, some of which must rank among the most memorable and beautiful yet seen on the Dunedin stage. The musical numbers are by no means negligible, and add much to the pleasure of the evening. The entertainment will bo repeated in His Majesty’s Theatre this evening and again to-morrow evening.
