TWO YEARS ONE VOYAGE.

SHIP WRECKED AFTER 20,000 MILES. After an eventful voyage of almoet two years, during which she covered nearly 20,000 miles, the Canadian vessel Garthwray, a sailing ship of 1937 tons, has been wrecked on Santa Maria Island, near Concepcion, Chili. Her loss marks the end of one of the longest voyages of recent years. She sailed from Grangemouth, Firth of Forth, in July, 1922, with a cargo of coal for Iquique, Chili. Two months later eho was reported near tho Capo Verde Islands, well on her way. Afterwards she encountered a series of storms, and her subsequent progress was: December, 1922.—Reached Montevideo (east coast of South America) in distress and had to be towed in.
