(Deceived June 13, at 5.5 p.m.) Georges Carpentier has been matched with Jimmy Slattery of Buffalo for a six round light-heavyweight contest at Buffalo on August 4. It is stipulated that Carpentier shall fight no one else previously except Gene Tunney. Billy Gibson, manager for Tunney, has announced tentative arrangements with Deschamps for 15 rounds between Tunney and Carpentier in mid-July in the open air stadium, New lork.
