General Russell, in farewelling on board the Corinthic at Southampton 25 public schoolboys who intend settling in New Zealand said, “We are looking to you to carry on the work of farming and of the Empire. Do not repeat in tne draw-ing-room what you hear on the farm. Do not gossip. Keep your mouths shut and your eyes open. Use your brains as well as your muscles.” The Corinthic and the Suffolk have lib migrants for New Zealand, including 88 farmworkers and 84 domestics.—Sydney Sun Cable.
