A STRANGE LAWSUIT. “A FOOL AND HIS MONEY.” Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June in. (Received Juno 15, at 5.5 p.ni.) Mr Justice Brown and a special jury are hearing a suit at Belfast which is tho first of its kind ever heard in .Ireland, in which John Connell, who was committed to an asylum last July, seeks a declaration that he is sane. Connell some years ago inherited £68,000, of which £28,000 remains. Evidence against the petition included that of a ticket collector who described how Connell, journeying from Dublin to Belfast, handed over a handful of notes to Free State soldiers at several stations, telling them to drink his health, and a hall porter at a London hotel who stated that Connell wanted him to paper tho staircase with pound notes. —A. and N.Z.
