(Received June 15, at 5.5 p.m.) At least 22 people are dead as a result of a cloudburst which wiped out the two settlements of Carter’s Bluff and Hunter near Johnson City, Tennessee.—A. and N.Z. Gable. ITALIAN DEPUTY MURDERED. ■ ROME, June 14. (Received June 15, at 5.6 p.m.) The body of the Socialist Deputy Matdolli, who has been missing for several days, and who was believed to have been kidnapped by Fascisti, has been found in a wood with the skull fractured.—A. and N.Z.
