The Pakeha, her damaged plating repaired and cargo which was discharged for lightering reloaded, left Port Chalmers on Saturday afternoon to resume her interrupted Homeward loading at Bluff. The Canadian Government Line steamer Canadian Challenger sailed oa Saturday afternoon for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland to complete loading for New fork, Boston, and Montreal. The Kotare left on Saturday afternoon for Bluff. The Corinna, from Wellington direct, whicn arrived hero yesterday morning, is to sail today for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Kawatiri, with a full cargo of Newcastle coal to discharge at Dunedin, is duo here on Thursday. On completing discharge she will dock at Port Chalmers for cleaning and painting. The Waitomo, which left Auckland shortly after noon on Saturday for Newcastle, where she will bunker, is to proceed to Alanru Island to load phosphates for Auckland. The Wingatui is to leave this morning for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Gisborne and Auckland. The Waihemo, from Wellington, is duo at Port Chalmers early this week to dock for examination. Th Kamona, which has been loading at Greymouth and Westport for Bluff and Dunedin, is duo here about Thursday to complete discharge. The Navua, from Auckland, via Wellington and Lyttelton, is due here to-morrow to load for Auckland, via ports. THE MOERAKI. The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Mooraki, from Melbourne, la due at Wellington on Thursday, and is' to sail th© following day for Lyttelton and Dunedin. Due here on June 23, she is to sail the same day for Bluff and Melbourne. PORT WELLINGTON FOR HOME. The Commonwealtli and Dominion liner Port Wellington, which loft Wellington early on Saturday for London, via Las Palmas, is taking the following passengers:—Miss Smith, Mesdames Harris, Smith, Messrs A. Messrs Eckford and Co.’s motor ship Opawa which left Wellington at 0 o’clock on Wednesday evening for Blenheim, got as far as the Wellington Heads when a break-down occurred to her engines. The vessel dropped anchor at 7.30 p.m. She signalled for a tug, and in response the Felioan went down to the Opawa’s aid. The tug arrived on the scene at 10.30 p.m., and after the disabled boat had got her anchor up she was towed back to the wharf. TREVORIAN AT NEWPORT. News by cablegram has been received by the Now Zealand Shipping Company that the Trevorfan, which left Montreal on June 1 lor New Zealand ports, arrived at Newport News on June 8. SALE OP THE PORT STEPHENS. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino has sold the Port Stephens, engaged until last December on tho Australian and New Zealand service, in which, indeed, she had run since her launch at Port Glasgow m 1899. She is a vessel of 6179 gross tons with a deadweight capacity of 10,200 tons. She was originally the Star of Australia. The Union Company’s intercolonial cargo carrier Waikouaiti, from Sydney, via Bluff, which arrived here on Saturday afternoon, berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge a large quantity of general cargo, including transhipments ox the Orvieto, Omar, Ventura, Canada, Marolla, Narkinda, Ville do Metz, Kanowra, Zingaren, Abbekcrk, Indus Mara, Arafuna, Paru; Houtman, Elbrcticld, Thomistoolea, Wyandra, St. Albans, Tiamaten, Cooma, Taiynan, Yoshino Maru, Bullaren, Moldavia, and Halle. The Waikouaiti is to sail to-morrow for Lyttelton and Timaru, where she will complete discharge and load produce for Sydney. STEAMERS FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s Maheno, from Sydney, is due at Wellington to-morrow, and is to sail at 11 a.m. on Friday on the return voyage. The Union Company's Marama, which left Wellington on Friday for Sydney, is to leave Sydney on Friday next for Auckland. Due at Auckland on June 2t, she is to sail on the return trip on Juno 27. The Huddarl-Parker Company’s Ulimaroa, from Auckland, is due at Sydney to-morrow morning. She is to leave Sydney on June 21 for Wellington, whore she is due on June 25.
