Angelo Gonzales, who owns a shoe factory in Mexico City, abhors whistling. When two of his employees forgot this recently, and whistled at their work, Angelo discharged them. But, according to Mexican papers, the Labour Commission decided that whistling was not sufficient ground for dismissal, and Senor Gonzales had to pay his ex-employees three months’ wages as compensation.
