FEDERAL POLITICS. CENSURE MOTION DEFEATED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, Juno 12. In the House of Representatives the censure motion was defeated by 38 votes to 26. Air J. H. Scullin gave notice of motion condemning the .action of tho Government in connection with the distribution of “Bawra's’’ profits without consulting Parliament. Mr Charlton intimated that tho Labour Party was behind the motion. VICTORIAN ELECTIONS. MELBOURNE, Juno 15. One hundred and 37 candidates have been nominated for 65 seats in the State General Elections. Twenty arc unopposed, including 12 Labour candidates, five Nationalists, and three of the Country Party. MRS FLINT’S CONDITION CRITICAL. SYDNEY, Juno 13. The condition of Mrs Flint is critical. Her dying depositions have been takem. Mrs Flint was shot by a quarter-cast© aboriginal named Ryan, who afterwards committed suicide. THE COKE INDUSTRY. SYDNEY, June 13. Tho Coke Tribunal has granted the workers in the coke industry a reduction in tho hours of work from 48 to 46 weekly.
