The Japanese coastal steamer Tahiko Mara was wrecked in Hainan'Strait, bhe was leaking badly, and the boats were launched, but they were all swamped by heavy seas. There were only three survivors. It is believed that 32 persons perished. —Sydney Sun Cable.
