YEEND KING, PAINTER. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 11. (Received June 12, at 5.5 p.m.) The death is announced of Mr Yeend King, the -well-known painter.—A. and N.Z. Cable. Mr Yeend King, a vice-president of the Royal Institute, was born in London in 1855, and was educated at Temple Choir School. After being apprenticed to a well-known London firm of glass painters, he first studied painting under William Bromley, R.B.A. He had been an exhibitor in the Royal Academy since 1876. Among his best known paintings are “The Garden by the River” and “Milking Time.’’
