Houlden, a Belfast merchant, when speaking at a business men’s luncheon to-day. ‘‘Well, you have the goods, but you haven’t concentrated upon displaying them properly You do not seem to have spent so much money as other places. Austrahe, Canada, the Malay States, and India all have, very fine shows ,and all seem to have spent more lavishly. You must realise that in business everything is in the display. Unquestionably you have the material, but you must show it in order to sell. Advertising is the big thing. In the New Zealand pavilion I had to get right up against some of the exhibits in order to see what they were/'
