AMUSEMENTS. SENSATIONAL SUCCESS Of ADA REEVE and “ALADDIN.” Despite the adverse weather conditions which prevailed last evening a largo and very enthusiastic audience enjoyed every minute of the initial Dunedin representation of “Aladdin,” which is unquestionably the best and greatest J. That last night’s audience thoroughly endorsed this tact was demonstrated throughout the performance by the manifestations of spontaneous delight which greeted Ada Reeve’s incomparable characterisation of “Aladdin," the funnyisms ql the comedians, the clever dancing, the original and brilliant ballets, the hi r 'h standard of the singing, the wonderful specialty, acts, and the magnificent setting, of which the gorgeous living Chandelier will always bo remembered as one of the most beautiful effects the stage has produced.
