Dr Montague Lomax, speaking in London, on the treatment of the insane, said there were dentha of insanity that had not been plumbed, and he believed that in some cases evii entities or spirits took possession of the patient. Two years’ experience as an asylum doctor, he said, had confirmed his belief in demoniacal possession.
