BOYCOTT MOVEMENT IN TOKIO. FEARS OF RETALIATION. Press Association —By Telegraph Copyright, TOKIO. Juno 10Representatives of the Kikosha Society, an organisation principally composed of students, visited the retail stores, advocating the boycott of American goods. The majority of the managers agreed to the principle of the boycott. The manager of the largest department store angered the students by declining to give a definite answer, because it was a joint stock concern. He said he was unable to pledge the shareholders. Several of the managers warned the agitators of the danger of an American counter-boycott, which Japan could not afford.—Sydney Sun Cable.
