(Received April 1, at 1C.55 a.m.) Fire in the Flinders street extension of the Free Stores caused damage to the extent of over £IOO,OOO. The firemen had many narrow escapes. Eire in the United Artists’ Film Store also caused many thousands pounds’ worth of damage. THE GLENFERRIE MURDER. MELBOURNE, April 1. A meeting of the State Cabinet decided that Angus Murray, the murderer of Mr W. Bcrriman, at OJenferrie, shall bo hanged on April 14.
