SUSPENSION OF MARISES. GENERAL MEETING OF DELEGATES. (Pee United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 1. With reference to the suspension of the Marists over their refusal to May the Otago University for the Payne trophy last year, it was agreed to afford them an opportunity of explaining their case to a general meeting of delegates on Saturday night, wuu an independent chairman, the union to abide by the decision of the meeting. Mr F. T. Evans is to be asked to preside. ALL BLACKS’ TOUR. QUESTION OF MANAGEMENT. (Peb Unit to / Press Association.! WELLINGTON, April 1. At the Wellington Rugby Union meeting to-night, the Wairarapa Rugby Union wrote stating that no better man could be secured for manager of the All Black team than Air E. M'Kenzie (president of the _ Wairarapa Union), and intimating that it had instructed its delegate to nominate him for the position at the annual meetimr of the New Zealand Rugby Union. With the remark: “We have already taken up the attitude that it is a question for the Management Committee,” the letter was reCfilVGu CHRISTCHURCH, April 1. At to-night’s meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union it was decided to nominate Mr S. F. Wilson, as manager of the All Blacks.
