FURTHER ARRANGEMENTS. ,\/ A meeting of the Military Pageant Committee was held in tho Returned Soldiers’ Club Room last night, and woa attended by Messrs F. H. Dampen (in the chairi, M. C. Henderson, G. Laurie, G Parkinson, J. H. Oliver, J. Roydhouae, A. J. Deane, A. C. Laing, G Carter, A. E. Jeffs, F. R. Brown, G. Carter, D. Harris Hastings, Major, BelL and Captain F. L. Hunt. ; ' \ 1 ’ It was reported that arrangements wejfe being made for the Hillside Ambulance Corps to >e in attendance throughout the pageant, t and also for special seating acoommodatfo'n - of parties of school children. In addition, the committee has decided to extend invitations to the children of all the orphanages and similar institutions to be present on the Wednesday afternoon, April 16. The Chairman reported that he had received word from the Auckland Pageant Committee that all accessories were being forwarded that day (yesterday) by special transit. O’Neill, of 4YA, will broadcast a wireless concert, which will be received in the Octagon ou Friday evening, April 11.
