WITNESS HIS CREDITOR DECLINES Tt) HEAR CASK When P. G. Wilmot, o£ St. Kilda road, Melbourne, a carrier, stepped into the wit ness box in the County Court recently n» response to a judgment summons, he was recognised by Judge V 7 illiams as a creditor, “I do not desire to hear this case,” said Judge money for a couple of loads of wood and a load of mallee roots. I have asked him time and again to send in his account, but he has not done so.” Wilmot: Oh, I knew it would be all right. Judge Williams : I thought that you must have been a very wealthy man to disregard an outstanding account for 18 months, i am sorry to see you here. Wilmot: And lam sorry to be here. I have had a particularly bad time lately. Judge Williams; If you sent in your account you would be able to pay at least part of your debt. I will adjourn the case for a fortnight. Wilmot said he would do his best to adjust matters. Wilmot appeared on a judgment summons for failure to pay a debt of £29 to J. F. M'Corkell, of Dromana, storekeeper. Mr Clyne appeared for M’Corkell.
