False Pretences.—Albert Wdliam Grant, who was previously before the court on charges of obtaining money and goods by the issue of valueless cheques, came up for sentence, this having been deferred until Grant was sentenced on other charges at the Supremo Court.—Detective Boor said that (he accused had been sentenced to three years’ reformative treatment by the Supreme t'ourt.- —j he magistrate convict ed and discharged accused on each count.
