OPERATIONS DO NOT NECESSARILY CURE Under date July 6, 1923, a 'Christchurch resident, writing to Mr A. W. Martin, testifies as follows: —“In 1917 I was certified by my medical adviser to be suffering from ‘lnguinal Hernia,’ and urged to undergo an operation as the only remedy and means of cure.” (Mark tho words “only remedy and means of cure.”) “As the operation, plus tho hospital expense and loss of employment, was too severe a strain on. my resources at the $ time, T put, off the issue. Later, being examined for war service, I was, to my great regret, turned down for the same reason. 1 came to you in July, 1918, and accepted your treatment. Inside of nine months I found myself completely cured. So much for a surgical operation being the only cure! Since receiving your treatment I have been entirely free from fear of any recurrence of the trouble, although not restricting myself in any way in engaging in all reasonable exertion that I was at any time in my life capable of. My solo reason for thus writing you is to bo of assistance to any one suffering in a similar manner, and to congratulate vou on having so excellent and entirely satisfactory a remedy for so unfortunate a disability.” This, with numerous other testimonials, appears with signature appended in the pamphlet on rupture and its treatment, which Mr A W. Martin, solo controller of the Dr J. A. Sherman Method of Curing Rapture sends free to any sufferer. Sufferers who may wish to see Mr Martin this month should note that ho closes down for the Christinas holidays on Friday, tho 21st. Hours: 10 to 12 noon, 2to 6 p.m. Saturdays, 10 to' 12 noon. —Advt.
