ROBBERY ON THE MAKURA.
£4OO WATCH STOLEN. (Peb United I assa Association.) AUCKLAND, December 11. A gold watch, valued at £4OO, was stolen from a first saloon passenger by the Makura a few hours before the vessel reached Auckland, the watch being taken from the cabin between midnight and 6 a.m. It was fitted with chimes and other mechanical devices.
