MURDER AND ROBBERY
DARING DAYLIGHT CRIME. BANK MESSENGER KILLED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrigflt NEW YORK, November 14. (Received November 15, at 11.5 p.m.) One of the most daring and inhuman robberies in this city of unusual crime occurred to-day. Two bandits in an ele l vated railway station waited until two bank messengers carrying 43,600 dollars alighted from the train. The bandits opened fire without warning, killing both of the messengers instantaneously. They then seized the money, rushed down the steps, and departed in a waiting automobile, racing through the busy city streets at 70 miles an hour. The police frankly admit that they doubt their ability to apprehend the murderers.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
