RETIREMENT I ROM THE BENCH. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 13. Mr Justice Darling has resigned his judgeship.—A. and N.Z. Cable. The Right Hon. Mr Justice Darling is 74 years of age. He has been a judge of the King’s Bench since 1897. He has the reputation of being the wittiest judge on the Bench. He wrote “Scintilla? Juris’" and much lively verse. In 1917 he received the special honour of a Privy Councillorship.
