TOUR OF ENGLISH TEAM DISCUSSED. (Pee United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 9. N cws of a distinctly promising nature is contained in a letter received by Mr IT L. Salmon (secretary of the Now Zealand Football Council) from Dir A. T-. Gibbs (the council’s representative in England). “It is with very great pleasure,” the. letter states, “that I have to inform you that the question of an Australasian tour was considered by the International Selection Committee of the Football Association at a mooting in Sheffield on October 1. when a sub-committee consisting of Messrs .1. C. Clegg, J. M’Kenna, J. Lewis, and A. Kingscott was set up to consider and report. 'JTds is distinct evidence of the keen desire of the Football Association to send a team to tour Australasia. I hope to be able to forward you some good news at an early date.”
