SUPREME COURT.
PRISONERS SENTENCED. (Pisa United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 9. In the Stpremo Court Arthur Alphonso Silvester Joseph Everett, for indecent assault, was ser fenced to five vears, with hard labour. His Honor said that in prisoner’s possession were found a book and a number of photographs. He had examined these, and they wei« of a most disgusting and degrading character. Prisoner collapsed •when leaving the dock. Alfred John Scoon, for theft, was ordered to be detained for reformative treatment for 12 months. The judge took into consideration the fact that accused had given every assistance in clearing up matters. Gerald Leonard Knowles, for false pretences and forgery, received a sentence of two years’ hard lamour.
