(Received Oct. 24, at 9.40 p.m.) At the Dairy Show-, in the colonial Butter competitions, the Australian exhibits were awarded a number of prizes. In the salted, class for cheese there were 36 entries, mostly Canadian and South African. Tile second prize was awarded to the Edendale Co-operative Company of New Zealand. The first and third prizes were awarded to Ontario factories. Australia and New Zealand competed in the bacon, honey, and eggs sections, in which Canada and South Africa took the prizes.—A. and N.Z.
