GENERAL SIR HERBERT COS. Pros* Association—By Telegraph— Copyright LONDON, October 9. The death of General Sir Herbert Cox is announced. He saw much active service in India, Afghanistan, and Burma. In the Great War he was in command of the Gurkha Brigade in Arabia, Egypt, and Gallipoli, and commanded the 4th Australian Division, in Egypt and France in 1916-17.
