ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
James O’Kan©, aged 70 years, residing at 49 Melbourne street, South Dunedin, while ■driving a gig along St. Clair beach yesterday afternoon was thrown out of the vehicle and sustained injuries to'his head. He was conveyed. to the Hospital. R. Williams was admitted to the Hospital yesterday suffering from injuries _to his left foot, sustained through his leg being jammed between two pipes' at the Dunedin Foundry, where he was employed. The sufferer resides- in Filleul street. Norman Veitch, whilst driving one of Mr Fred Foster’s bakery carts in Forbury road yesterday afternoon, was thrown from the cart through the horse stumbling, and had one of his legs broken. He was removed to the Hospital.
