INSCRIBED STOCK AND DEBENTURES. (Feom Ode Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, August 20. In the House of Representatives to-day the Hon J. A. Hanau (Invercargill) asked the Minister of Finance if he would furnish information supplementary to that which appeared in the, tables in the Financial Statement in regard to the public debts, as to how much of it was held in inscribed stock, and how much was held in debentures, how it was held and. where. Mr Massey said that he had not the information by him. but he would give mBtructions that it should he supplied.
