HOUSING IN BRITAIN
bill read a third time. Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, June 25. (Received June 26, at 8.30 p.m.) The Housing Bill was read a third time in the House of Commons. During the committee stage the maximum size of 850 ft for subsidised houses was increased by 100 ft, but the critics of the Government regret that the amendments are not more drastic, particularly that the number of houses is not limited to 12 per acre.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
