EDUCATION CONFERENCE
OPENED BY DUKE OF YOKE. HIGH STANDARD IN DOMINIONS. Preas Association—By Telegraph—Copyrignt LONDON, June 24. The Duke of York opened the Imperial Education Conference at tire offices of the Beard of Education. In welcoming the overseas delegates, his Royal Highness commented on the high standard of education in the dominions. He said ho thought that an interchange of ideas would be of tremendous benefit to the Empire’s vouth. The Duke of Devonshire,, in thanking the Duke of York, referred' to the keen interest of Royalty in the educaSßnal movement. The conference will last for 10 days.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
