MINISTERIAL PORTFOLIOS.
REARRANGEMENT MADE. (From Odr Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, June 26. A rearrangement of Ministerial portfolios was announced this evening. Sir Francis Bell resigns Justice, which will be taken by tho Hon. C. J. Parr, who will also have charge of the Police and Prisons Departments. Mr Parr resigns tho portfolio of Health, and will be succeeded by Sir Maui Pomarc. The Hon. W. Downie Stewart resigns from the charge of Internal Affairs, which will be taken by the Hon. R. F. Bollard. Mr Bollard will also bo acting Minister of hands in the absence, on account of illhealth, of tho Hon. D. H. Guthrie. The administration of the Public Trust Department, which was held by tho Hon. J. G. Coates, will now be assumed by Mr Massey. Mr Coates retains the portfolio of Native Affairs, but it is understood that, tho portfolio of Postmaster-General and Minister of Telegraphs is'held over in the meantime. Minister of Finance, State Advances, Public Trust, Electoral Department, Valuation Department. Sir Francis Bell, Attorney-General, Leader of the Legislative Council, External Affairs, Crown Law Office, Law Drafting Office. Sir William Fraser, Member of tho Executive Council. Mr Guthrie, Minister of Lands. air Nosworthy, Minister of Agriculture and Immigration. Mr Coates, Minister of Railways, Public Works, Postmaster-General, Minister in charge of Roads, Public Buildings, and Friendly Societies, Mr Anderson, Minister of Marine, Labour, and Pensions. Mr Pare. Minister of Education, Justice, Prisons, and Police. Mr Downie Stewart. Minister of Customs and Industries and Commerce. Sir K. Heaton Rhodes, Minister of Defence, War Pensions, and State Forestry. Sir Maui Pomare, Native Race, Health, and charge of the Cook Islands. Mr Bollard. Internal Affairs, Acting Minister of Lands, and Repatriation.
